APEC LEADERS’ WEEK - HANOI 2006

APEC Leaders gather at NCC, Hanoi - 12th- 19th November 2006. The APEC year 2006 culminated in Hanoi, Vietnam, where 21 Heads of States gathered for their Leaders’ week.

The National Convention Centre (NCC) in Hanoi was recently equipped with the latest digital conference technology by Brähler ICS. In total 4 conference rooms and the Main Event Hall are now fully equipped with CDSVAN conference systems, including digital microphones, voting ability, simultaneous interpretation as well as infrared language distribution for up to 32 channels. For the APEC summit Brähler ICS were requested to support the local engineers and to share their experience and flexibility during this highly prestigious event.

Several additional conference rooms had to be prepared (sometimes overnight) to support the requirements of the APEC summit meetings scheduled and serve the short term organised conferences.

For the CEO Summit meetings, the Main Event Hall of the NCC, was equipped with 1,159 delegate units for voting and 32 channel language distribution, for the over 1,000 attending delegates with conference audio in their respective languages.

On November 18th and 19th 21 Heads of States gathered for two conferences to share their speeches in up to 8 different languages.
