RSP8V - Digital Distribution Amplifier
Description
The 16-channel Digital Distribution Amplifier RSP8V is a power supply unit with the function of a data converter. The unit will be used within the CDSVAN Conference System and converts the data into the data format of the MULTICOM16 System. The Digital Distribution Amplifier RSP8V will be directly connected to the DSP-Board in the CDSVAN-PC. It supplies and controls at 8 outputs the language selectors of the MULTICOM16 System.
The maximum number of units which can be powered at one output depends on the necessary cable length within the customer specified system. For standard applications up to 30 units per output are possible. The 8 outputs of the RSP8V are electronically shortcircuit protected. In case of a short-circuit the output current will be limited to 1.2A. The output will then automatically switched off which is indicated by red LEDs on the front panel. When the short-circuit was removed the output will automatically be activated again. At the EDAT-Out socket (Link) e.g. the Brähler AD/DA-Converter B8 can be connected.
